Hi! I’m Alex Coscarelli, a public relations major passionate about storytelling, strategy, and the unique world of themed entertainment. This blog is a space where I explore the intersection of amusement parks and public relations: how branding, communication, and guest experience all work together to create unforgettable moments.
What started as a personal fascination with theme parks turned into a deeper curiosity about how these spaces function behind the scenes. From carefully crafted narratives to crisis communication strategies, amusement parks are masterclasses in immersive PR, and I wanted a place to dive into that.
Outside of the blog, I currently work as a Student Engagement Assistant in the School of Journalism and Communication (SOJC), where I help lead initiatives that connect students to resources, events, and opportunities within the school. One of my favorite projects has been developing the Lending Library in Allen Hall to increase student access to learning materials and books.
I created this blog to share my thoughts and grow as a communicator and future PR professional. Here, I analyze media strategies, explore trends in entertainment marketing, and reflect on how parks connect with audiences emotionally and culturally. It’s part academic, part creative outlet.
Thanks for stopping by, and if you’re as fascinated by theme parks, branding, or the art of experience-making as I am, you’re in the right place.
